On March 18, a woman living on North Broadway called police after realizing that some had taken $300 from her backpack while she was visiting a friend’s apartment a day earlier, according to police.
While the woman was able to provide officers with a name of the person she suspected, police did not report making any arrests in the case.
Later on March 18, officers responded to another incidence of alleged erratic driving – this time on Byram Lake Road, according to authorities.
The incident, which was reported about 10:15 p.m. by a woman who was cut off by a Lexus sedan that cut her off while speeding near Cox Avenue, according to police.
The woman made not of the license plate number and provided it to police, according to authorities.
When officers responded to the vehicle owner’s home, the vehicle owner told them that the family’s teenage son had apparently been driving away while upset about an argument that had occurred earlier, police said.
